Just in time for the new Warbirds update!
Seafire Mk.LIII, of No 894 NAS, HMS Indefatigable,
British Pacific Fleet, Sakishima Gunto group of islands, May 1945
flown by Sub/Lt Richard Reynolds, RNVR

Reynolds of 894 NAS was the highest-scoring Seafire
pilot of the war, and he had the honor of shooting down more
kamikaze aircraft than any other naval aviaor in the entire Fleet Air Arm.

My main concern has been with getting the proper colors on this plane.
Notice my first efforts and my final color scheme at bottom.
See the color profile references at bottom.

Coloring is off, but this is just a WIP.

This is pretty much my final version.

Information about the pilot: Sub/Lt Richard Reynolds of the Fleet Air Arm, was the top-scoring Seafire ace.
The aircraft sported both German crosses and Japanese flag kill markings, a personal name and the
British Pacific Fleet roundels with US-style bars. Reynolds shot down three Zero kamikazes attacking the
Indefatigable on 1 April 1945, bringing his tally to 5 and making him the only Seafire Ace in the Royal Navy

This is ONE BEAUTIFUL PLANE!

This one should make a very nice screen wallpaper.

Check out the "six" exhaust covers!

Here is a nice screenshot with a little PhotoShopped Zero added.
I got the mechanic to change out the three exhaust covers and put in six.

Issues I encountered:  top part of the fuselage is very hard to match up with the left and right side.
I want to turn the 3 exhaust covers into 6 for the Seafire III plane. Getting the bottom lines to match up with the left and right fuselage. The propeller is black and it is possible to paint yellow tips, but the yellow tip area is also where the back wall behind the pilot is.

REFERENCE IMAGES:

Thanks to Bollok for getting me the link for the proper colors.
