Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III Warbirds III is a flight simulation game by Total Simulation Series, Inc. Warbirds III skins are for both Mac and PC users. Place the Targa files into the offline skins directory. This
page is for Mac or PC users that enjoy Warbirds III, Warbirds 2004, or
Fighter Pilot Academy. Below is a photo gallery of some of my favorite
planes. The skins I have worked on are not entirely my own creations,
but are inspired, reworked and copied from various other simulation
games, such
as IL-2 Sturmovik and then PLACED
into TGA files for use in Warbirds III. My thanks are to the creative
IL-2 artists who have done such a fine job. However, the BF109e with
red circle Swastika are my design. For the most part I have permission
from these guys to use and re-create their skins for Warbirds.

You
will NOT
see
these "non-historic"
aircraft on
any Warbirds websites. You will not find many fans of "non-historic"
skins in
the Warbirds community,
but by chance, if you like the interesting creations you see on this
page,
please e-mail me and ask me to
send you the TGA files. I would be glad to let you fly these "neat"
aircraft. What do you think of that World War I paint job on an ME-109?
Isn't that an awesome idea?
What about the SWASTIKA symbol on my
planeskins?
The Red Circle Swastika (see
ME-109
at top of this page) is not my idea of glorifying the Nazi
regime or anything pro-Nazi. IMPORTANT: Although Warbirds pilots may
fly and play the roles of german fighter-pilots in WW II, we do not
support in any way the national-socialistic goals of that period of
history. We do not support Nazi ideals, their disgusting, deadly
racism, and we won't forget about the cruelties that the German reign
of terror in 1933-1945 is responsible for! Never again war! Never again
Fascism! Never again Nazism!
DID YOU KNOW ? ... Swastikas are
sometimes banned from wargame
aircraft in some countries. In Germany, it is forbidden by heavy
punishment to show swastikas in public for other than historical causes
(in school / history-books). Not only would it make the users
criminals, morevover the swastika in Germany does not represent a
long-forgotten era. It is still a steady reminder of genocide,
surpression and war, and every German today is can understand bad
feelings related to it. Warbirds pilots might have historically correct
ranks, insignias, planes, some countries do not allow the swastika
ideological symbol.
